In order to offer them a harmonious tool for phylacteries in Latin, Cyrillic, Han, Kana or Greek, I imagined a typography where all the characters are handwritten. They form a uniform whole, which retains its human marks. The typeface contains Latin letters in capital letters. In order to ensure multiple use of the typeface in the comic strip, the typeface offers several stylistic sets, contextual variants and special characters. During my internship in Espace Entreprise, I had the opportunity to work on the booth that represents the CFP Commerce (Geneva Business School). In collaboration with the apprentices of the CFP Commerce, who imagined the global concept of the stand and realized the informative content, I designed the visual identity of this stand. The visual application, as well as its finalisation, was also part of my job. For this exhibition, clarity and simplicity were the main words; to convey an image of trust, professionalism and elegance, the elements are laid out to reflect a more contemporary image of the CFP Commerce. The five colors have been chosen to create a vibrant contrast between them; the half-toned images bring a unique feeling of humanism that stands out from regular corporate photos. Overall, the booth have been designed to convey trust to the parents. Hergé, the creator, drew his own lettering for each of his bubbles in French. What happens when the comic book is translated into another language such as English or Russian? Well, most of the time, publishers use standard typefaces that burn out the graphic language that the creator has built. I wanted to create a tool for comics creators and publishers to reconcile some of their interests. The font had to be readable at an intermediate to small size (30 to 10 pts), so I wrote my letters at a medium size. To keep a certain coherence through my letters, even if I wanted to keep the human and soft aspect, I tried to place my letters on a square, circle or triangle module. <img width="3134" height="1787" the French-Korean writer Elisa Shua Dusapin. As an end-of-school-year exam, we had to create a poster on the theme of identity, about which the book speaks a lot, for the film by Koya Kamura which will be released in 2024 Who are we really? Marcel Proust writes in "In Search of Lost Time" that our social personality is a creation of other people's thoughts; this means that who we are is biased by other people's opinion of us. Sometimes someone finds us arrogant or unpleasant but we don't see ourselves as such. However, the opinion of the other defines us in the world much more than the way we define ourselves. For me, then, identity is strongly linked to our relationships with others. The way we meet and socialise with people will define our identity. The book tells the story of a young Korean girl who lives a banal life and meets a French comic artist who makes her question her identity and her father, whom she doesn't know very well. The two characters will live a special relationship tinted by the coldness of winter. The poster I created shows this fragile relationship between the characters in the book. I created a language and symbols around winter and Korean culture. The two characters are subtly represented by a graphic treatment reminiscent of Korean calligraphy. The overall composition is light and lets the drawings and typography speak for themselves. I was inspired by the posters of the 50s and 70s by Saul Bass, Maurice Binder or Jack Davis, with little intellectual games in their posters. The faces, which don't appear to us coldly at first sight, can also be snowflakes or traces of snow. All these interpretations are not wrong, because they converge towards this idea of winter and Sokcho that I wanted to convey. Every student has to write a story and illustrate it with a series of illustrations. Mine is called "Un jour de pluie à Montréal" (A rainy day in Montréal) and talks about the trip I've made to Montréal in early 2022. How I could, on a rainy day, be inspired by a simple old-fashioned stationery and a little yellow notebook. With reference to Saul Steinberg, I chose a fairly simple graphic language for this booklet, with a thin pen and a thick brush that creates a bold contrast. A small touch of color refers to an important part of the plot. The overall story flows between the text and the drawing, to create a light atmosphere around the narrative. The main constrict during this project was to use only typography, without any pictures or drawings. This journal is willing to make full use of the unique style of the monospace typeface by creating a visual design that is deliberately inspired by automatic page layouts. The famous detective died in Switzerland at the Reichenbarch Falls over 130 years ago. To pay tribute to this figure of detective literature, we had the task of creating a series of postage stamps within eight hours. For the stamp base, I chose to depict Sherlock Holmes with a simple and controlled line, which offers very good readability on a small scale. The illustration keeps a humanistic trace and reinforces the individuality and authenticity of the stamp. The Reichenbarch falls are depicted symbolically and abstractly. The motifs each echo the materials associated with this place (rock, gravel, grass, forest, river and waterfall). The colours accompany the representation of the different biotopes. The series unfolds thanks to the variations of these two aspects.
