La Collection Dessinée
La Collection dessinée (The drawn collection) is a serie of fanzines about souvenir. Every student has to write a story and illustrate it with a series of illustrations.
Mine is called "Un jour de pluie à Montréal" (A rainy day in Montréal) and talks about the trip I've made to Montréal in early 2022. How I could, on a rainy day, be inspired by a simple old-fashioned stationery and a little yellow notebook.
With reference to Saul Steinberg, I chose a fairly simple graphic language for this booklet, with a thin pen and a thick brush that creates a bold contrast. A small touch of color refers to an important part of the plot.
The overall story flows between the text and the drawing, to create a light atmosphere around the narrative.
